Freelance writer, photographer, and videographer Donald Seltzer manages this company formerly based in Germany.

For 25 years as a volunteer -- from July 1992 through July 2017 -- Seltzer wrote the monthly Take a Hike volksmarch column for the Herald Union, U. S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden's award-winning newspaper. Seltzer also provided location-specific versions of Take a Hike to the Kaiserslautern American newspaper which serves the Kaiserslautern Military Community, the Saber Nation electronic publication of the 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base, as well as to subscribers in the Stuttgart Military Community.

Between December 1992 and March 1999, Seltzer compiled and wrote 327 consecutive weekly volksmarch columns for the European Edition of The Stars and Stripes newspaper.
Freelance articles and photographs were published in the former USAG Heidelberg's Herald-Post newspaper; in Connection Magazine, a product of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation group of the former USAG Hessen; and The Stars and Stripes.

Additionally, Seltzer produced radio and television news reports and PSAs for the American Forces Network affiliates in Frankfurt, Hessen/Wiesbaden, Heidelberg, and Kaiserslautern. Video support was also provided to a variety of organizations within Wiesbaden's military community.
Having retired from newspaper writing, Seltzer transitioned to radio with his popular AFN Traffic Chopper reports for the Ramstein Air Base and Vogelweh Housing areas. These reports were featured on AFN Kaiserslautern's Afternoon Show with Army Staff Sgt. José Ramirez, and on the Fast Lane afternoon show with Airman 1st Class Jaci Faught.

Seltzer was a frequent contributor and guest on AFN K-town's FM 105.1 frequency, often highlighting the activities of the USO Kaiserslautern's various Centers.

Now based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Seltzer has transitioned AlkaSoft Productions to a role that supports various organizations through volunteer efforts. These organizations include the USO of North Carolina (RDU and CLT Airport Centers), Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO), Greensboro Sports Foundation, NC Folk Fest, and the Steven Tanger Center for Performing Arts.
